  1. AC62—Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate (DOT) Wood-preservative Treatment by Pressure Processes. Revisions are proposed to add provisions for recognition of a DOT preservative with a proprietary organic binder, for interior and exterior use, and locations that are not in contact with the ground. click here
  2. AC233—Alternate Dowel-type Threaded Fasteners Less than 1/4 Inch in Diameter. Revisions are proposed concerning (1) limiting lateral design values to maximum NDS equations; and (2) use of the reduction term on test results. click here
  3. AC314—DCOIT Wood Preservative Systems. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of DCOIT wood preservative treatment system. click here
  4. MISC1—Test Method for Evaluating the Shear Strength of Adhesive Bonds on Glued Wood Products at Elevated Temperatures. ICC-ES staff is seeking comments regarding a new acceptance criteria for evaluating shear strength of adhesive bonds on glued wood products at elevated temperatures. click here
  5. AC323—Reinforcement of Openings in Shear Walls with Metal Brackets. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for metal brackets used to reinforce openings in shear walls constructed in accordance with IBC Table 2306.4.1 or UBC Table 23-II-I-1. click here
  6. AC313—Barrier Systems for Protection of Wood Posts Against Decay and Termites. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of a barrier system for protection of nonpreservative-treated and preservative-treated wood posts used in ground contact applications against decay and termites.click here
  7. AC197—Photoluminescent Exit Signs and Means of Egress Identification. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of photoluminescent exit signs. click here
  8. AC174—Deck Board Span Ratings and Guardrail Systems (Guards and Handrails). The criteria was approved at the February 2005 Evaluation Committee meeting with a July 1, 2005, effective date so that staff and industry could review the criteria and make necessary revisions before the July 1, 2005, implementation date. The proposed revisions to the criteria address a number of issues raised by both industry and staff. click here
  9. AC305—Wood Dowel Connectors. The proposed criteria is a second draft of a new criteria for wood dowel connectors. The scope of the proposed criteria will be limited to the attachment of deck boards. click here

  1. AC75—Membrane Roof-covering Systems. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2003 International Codes, add recognition under other legacy codes, use the provisions of the IBC as the basis for recognition under the legacy codes, and revise how foam plastic insulation used in roofing systems is to be evaluated. click here
  2. AC318—Structural Cementitious Floor Sheathing Panels. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of fiber-reinforced, inorganic composite panels as noncombustible, water-durable structural cementitious floor sheathing panels. click here
  3. AC319—Horizontal Diaphragms Consisting of Structural Cementitious Floor Sheathing Panels Attached to Cold-Formed Steel Framing. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of sheathing panels complying with proposed acceptance criteria AC318 in horizontal diaphragms. click here
  4. AC301—Horizontally Sliding, Accordion-type, Fire-wall Assemblies. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of a sliding door assembly as a fire wall complying with Section 705 of the IBC. click here
  5. AC118—Tapping Screw Fasteners. Revisions are proposed to add requirements for screws used to connect cold-formed steel members less than 3/16 inch thick to thicker steel supporting steel members, to clarify testing requirements in Section 3, and to clarify requirements for testing under Section 5. click here
  6. AC155—Holdowns and Tension Ties. The proposed acceptance criteria is a second draft of a new criteria for holdowns and tension ties. The proposed criteria incorporates most comments expressed by interested parties at the February 3, 2005, Evaluation Committee meeting. click here
  7. AC316—Shrinkage Compensating Devices. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of shrinkage compensating devices used with holdown and tension tie connectors to compensate for wood shrinkage. click here
  8. AC317—Metal Connectors Used to Attach Wood and Composite Decking Material to Wood Framing Supports. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of metal onnectors attaching wood and composite material decking to framing. click here
  9. AC283—Metal Hinge Plate Connectors for Wood Trusses. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for recognition of hinge plate connectors for wood trusses. click here

  1. MISC2—Issues Involving Anchors Embedded in Concrete (AC01, AC58, AC106, AC193). Revisions are proposed to each of the identified acceptance criteria to clarify wording that is included in affected evaluation reports regarding use of the concrete anchors in fire-resistive construction. click here
  2. AC02—Reflective Foil Insulation. Revisions are proposed to the criteria to delete the requirement for minimum space between layers of multilayer systems, to clarify terminology, and to revise testing procedures. click here
  3. AC193A—Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to address compliance with the 2003 International Codes, add provisions for testing anchors in concrete-filled metal deck, and add provisions for qualifying anchors that may be installed with multiple hole-drilling methods. click here
  4. AC252—CPVC Systems of Piping, Fittings and Solvent Cement Used in Chemical Waste Systems. This criteria was originally proposed and approved as an evaluation guideline. Concerns were raised by industry regarding portions of the guideline, which will be discussed at the hearing. click here
  5. AC58—Adhesives Anchors in Concrete and Masonry Elements. Revisions are proposed to add the 2000 IBC and IRC as legacy codes, to add a new Section 4.4.8 on torque testing, and to add a new Section 6.6.6 to provide wording for evaluation reports explaining the differences between the 2000 IBC and 2003 IBC requirements as regards seismic load recognition. click here
  6. AC193B—Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to Section 2.2 and Annex 1, Section 5.3 to clarify requirements for testing in a manufacturer’s facility. click here
  7. AC308—Post-installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete Elements. The proposed acceptance criteria is a second draft of a new criteria for adhesive anchors in concrete elements. The proposed criteria was previously considered at the February 3, 2005, Evaluation Committee meeting. click here
  8. MISC3—Evaluation Reports Issued Since February 2005. Staff seeks the input of the committee as to whether recently issued evaluation reports are adequate to meet the needs of the code official in the field.
