  7. MISC2—Increasing the Thickness of EPDM Roof Coverings for Assemblies Qualified under UL 1256 Full-scale Testing. An evaluation report applicant has proposed that a thicker roof membrane be permitted to be used with assemblies qualified by testing under UL 1256. click here
  8. AC191—Metal Plaster Bases (Lath). Revisions are proposed for metal plaster bases to be manufactured under a quality control program with inspections by a third-party inspection agency, and to clarify required testing for lath with backing. click here
  9. AC275—Glass Fiber Lath Used in Cementitious Exterior Wall Coatings or Exterior Cement Plaster (Stucco). Revisions are proposed to include provisions for use of glass fiber lath with exterior cement plaster (stucco) and to clarify requirements for structural testing under Section 3.2.2 of the criteria. Revisions to include exterior cement plaster were considered at he February 2006 meeting, but were not included in the approved criteria. click here
  10. AC148-A—Flashing Materials [to be renamed Flexible Flashing Materials]. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2003 International Codes, and to add requirements for mechanically fastened wall flashing. This item was previously considered by the committee at the February 2006 meeting. click here
  11. AC148-B—Flashing Materials [to be renamed Flexible Flashing Materials]. Revisions are proposed to revise the requirements for self-adhering flashing, based on AAMA 711-2005. click here
  12. AC04—Sandwich Panels. Revisions are proposed to clarify requirements for the coefficient of expansion test in Section 4.10 of the criteria, and to include panels having nonstructural combustible components within the scope of the Exception noted in Section 8.1. click here

Thursday, June 1, 2006

  1. AC347— Headed Ends of Concrete Reinforcement. A new criteria is proposed for headed ends of concrete reinforcement to address mechanical anchorage requirements for development of rebar. click here
  2. AC308—Post-installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to address confined vs. unconfined testing to establish the nominal characteristic bond strength, determination of k for adhesive anchors, and sensitivity to sustained loading. click here
  3. AC16—Plastic Glazed Skylights. Revisions are proposed to permit negative (wind uplift) load testing with the minimum number of specimens and the safety factor that are currently permitted for inward (positive/gravity) loads. click here
  4. AC87—Mortar with Admixtures. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2003 and 2006 International Codes. click here
  5. AC193—Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed pertaining to Section 8.7 and evaluation of screw anchors for brittle failure. click here
  6. AC106—Predrilled Fasteners (Screw Anchors) in Masonry. Revisions are proposed to limit the scope to masonry construction, to delete references to the 2000 IBC, and to address use of the fasteners in resisting wind and seismic loads. click here
  7. AC322—Prefabricated, Cold-formed, Steel Lateral-load-resisting Assemblies. A new criteria is proposed. This item was considered by the Evaluation Committee at the February 2006 meeting. click here
  8. AC320—Fiber-reinforced Composite Connectors Anchored in Concrete. A new criteria is proposed for fiber-reinforced composite connectors, which are cast into concrete and serve to resist tension, shear, or combined tension and shear loads. click here
  9. AC43—Steel Deck Roof and Floor Systems. Revisions are proposed for diaphragm testing and analysis, to add reference to AISI TS 9, and to revise Section 3.3.1.2 regarding factors of safety and resistance factors for fasteners. click here
  10. AC46—Cold-formed Steel Framing. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2003 IBC and to address products that have nonstandard sections. click here
  11. AC348—Continuous Tie-down Systems. A new criteria is proposed for continuous tie-down systems. These systems function as a component of a light-frame wall lateral-force-resisting system, such as shear walls, in resisting the effects of uplift due to overturning forces or as means to resist pure uplift due to wind. click here
