Alternate Agenda Items:
This page provides access to proposed acceptance criteria that are available for public comment but that will not be discussed at the upcoming Evaluation Committee hearing. These criteria—which have been left off the hearing agenda in order to limit its length—fall into three categories: (1) new criteria that are based on procedures used for the issuance of current legacy reports; (2) existing criteria that need minor revisions; and (3) draft criteria that are not ready for committee consideration but which would benefit from the input of industry and other interested parties.
Following a 45-day public review period, if no significant issues are raised, criteria in the first two categories will be balloted by e-mail to the Evaluation Committee. The committee will then comment on the criteria, and vote on whether the new/revised criteria should be approved and posted to the ICC-ES web site. If significant issues are raised, either during the period of public comment or by the Evaluation Committee, the proposed acceptance criteria will be placed on the agenda of a future Evaluation Committee meeting.
Acceptance criteria in the third category—those not ready for committee consideration but needing input from industry and the public—are made available here for that purpose. ICC-ES invites all interested parties to review these draft criteria, identify concerns, try to resolve open questions, and bring the criteria to a point where they are ready to be placed on the agenda of the Evaluation Committee.
