AC405—Wood Structural Panels with Factory-applied Fire-retardant Coatings. A new criteria is proposed for use of fire-retardant coatings factory-applied to wood structural panels for use as roof sheathing to provide fire wall continuity under the IBC and IRC. This subject was considered under AC264 at the May 2008 Evaluation Committee meeting and is being returned as a separate criteria. Click here.

AC404—Insulated Protective covers Used Over P-traps, Supply Stops and Risers. A new criteria is proposed for insulated protective covers used under lavatories in non-residential applications. Click here.

AC359—Exterior Wall coverings of Steel Backed Veneer Panels attached to Walls with Steel Framing and Brackets. A new criteria is proposed for veneer panels that are adhesively attached to a steel backing, which are mechanically attached to steel framing members. Click here.

AC326—Proprietary Wood Preservative Systems—Common Requirements for Treatment Process, Test Methods and Performance. Revisions are proposed for evaluation of proprietary wood preservative systems that are standardized in AWPA U1; and to include three new appendices for proprietary systems that are currently described in AC242, AC268 and AC329. AC282—Thin-shell, Cementitious-coated, Cold-formed Steel Stud Wall Panels. Revisions are proposed to include provisions for testing and analysis of shear walls; for evaluation of the lath reinforced cementitious coating to span between studs and for design of the studs; to include requirements for seismic limitations; and other editorial revisions. AC403—BauGrid Reinforcement. A new criteria is proposed for a reinforcement system consisting of intersecting steel wires welded together in a grid-like configuration that is intended to replaced reinforcing hoops, stirrups and ties in concrete and masonry. Click here.

AC391—Continuous Rod Tie-down Assemblies. A new criteria is proposed concerning continuous rod tie down systems used to resist tension loads due to wind or earthquake in light-frame construction. The proposed revisions were first posted for consideration on the February 2008 Alternate Criteria Process agenda. Click here.

AC230—Power-Driven Pins For Shear Wall Assemblies With Cold-Formed Steel Framing And Wood Structural Panels. Revisions are proposed to Section 4.3.4 of the criteria. The criteria was approved in May 2008 contingent on placing further revisions to Section 4.3.4 on the August posting for the Alternate Criteria Process. The criteria is being placed on the October Evaluation Committee agenda to address comments received from the August posting. Click here.

AC399—Cast-in-place Proprietary Bolts in Concrete for Light-frame Construction. This new proposed criteria was first considered by the Evaluation Committee at the May 2008 meeting, where it was held for further study. The criteria was then placed on the August 2008 Alternative Criteria Process agenda for consideration of revisions made as a result of comments received at the May meeting. Since additional comments were received from the August posting, the subject will be considered at the October 2008 meeting. Click here.
