AC405—Wood Structural Panels with Factory-applied Fire-retardant Coatings. A new criteria is proposed for use of fire-retardant coatings factory-applied to wood structural panels for use as roof sheathing to provide fire wall continuity under the IBC and IRC. This subject was considered under AC264 at the May 2008 Evaluation Committee meeting and is being returned as a separate criteria. Click here for responses
