  1. AC381—Subterranean Termite Baiting Systems. A new criteria is proposed for subterranean termite baiting systems, which are defined as integrated pest management systems for the protection of structures from subterranean termite infestation. Click here.
  2. AC05—Sandwich Panel Adhesives. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to requirements in the 2009 codes including requirements for the products to be manufactured under a third-party inspection program; editorial revisions to Section 8.8.2 regarding mold growth specimens; and a new Section 11 for information to be included in the evaluation report.   3. AC380—Termite Physical Barrier Systems. A new criteria is proposed for proprietary steel mesh systems used to protect wood floor framing and foam plastic insulation from termite damage.  Click here.
  4. MISC1—Securing of Steel Bar Reinforcement with Plastic Clips to Placing of Concrete. This item has been placed on the Evaluation Committee agenda to seek input from the Evaluation Committee on whether an evaluation report can be issued on plastic clips used to secure bar reinforcement.   5. AC326—Proprietary Wood Preservative Systems – Common Requirements for Treatment Process. Revisions are proposed to (1) move requirements from other  ICC-ES acceptance criteria into the appendices of AC326, including AC279 (with revisions), AC254 and AC62; (2) address requirements in the 2009 International Codes; and (3) make editorial revisions.   6. AC405—Wood Structural Panels with Factory-applied Fire-retardant Coatings. A new acceptance criteria is proposed for wood structural panels with factory-applied fire-retardant coatings used to provide fire wall continuity.  This item was considered by the Evaluation Committee in May 2008 and again in October 2008.   7. AC363—Surface-applied Fire-retardant Coating. Revisions are proposed to clarify the scope and intent of the criteria; to address: requirements for durability; and to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes. Click here.

  1. AC180—Clay and Concrete Roof Tiles.  Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes including a requirement for inspections by a third-party inspection agency. Click here.
  2. AC166—Metal Roof Coverings. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes including a requirement for inspections by a third-party inspection agency.  Click here.
  3. AC37—Vinyl Siding. Revisions are proposed by an industry group to include wall covering assemblies of vinyl siding applied over foam plastic sheathing; by the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) to update the reference to ASTM D 5206-06a; for recognition under the 2009 International Codes; and editorial revisions to clarify the intent of Section Click here.
  4. AC318—Structural Cementitious Floor and Roof Sheathing Panels. Revisions are proposed to include recognition of panels used as roof sheathing. This item was first proposed at the February 2009 Evaluation Committee hearing.  Further, a revision is proposed to address requirements of the 2009 codes, and staff seeks input on several issues.   5. AC47—Structural Wood-based Products.  Revisions are proposed for recognition of a laminated veneer bamboo (LVB) type of product. Click here.
  6. AC132—Attic Vents. Revisions are proposed to Sections 3.3.2 and 6.3 to clarify the use of metal attic vents with classified roof covering systems; and to address requirements under the  2009 International Codes. Click here.
  7. AC377—Spray-applied Foam Plastic Insulation. Revisions are proposed for testing for use in attics and crawl spaces. Click here.

  1. AC308—Post-installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to Annex A Sections,,,,,, and; Annex A Sections 9.6 and 11.15; and Annex A Section 11.3.8. File revised 05-06-09, click here.
  2. AC414—Mechanical Pinned Splices (MPSs) for Precast Prestressed Concrete Piles. A new criteria is proposed for mechanical pinned splices (MPSs) with MPS components embedded into precast prestressed concrete foundation piles during casting of concrete. Click here.
  3. AC237—Threaded High-strength Steel Bars for Concrete Reinforcement. Revisions are proposed to include references to the 2009 International Building Code; and revise Eq. (3-2) by removing the 1.25 factor. Click here.
  4. AC413—Steel Cable and Fitting Assemblies (SCFAs) for Seismic Sway Bracing of Nonstructural Components. A new criteria is proposed for steel cable and fitting assemblies (SCFAs) for seismic sway bracing of nonstructural components. This acceptance criteria applies to SCFAs that are the main component of tension-only cable seismic sway bracing assemblies (CSSBAs) used to resist only seismic forces and control seismic force–induced sway (displacements) of nonstructural components only.   5. AC409—Composite Cold-Formed Light Gage Steel and Masonry Lintels.  A new criteria is proposed for composite cold-formed light gage steel and masonry lintels, which are cold-formed light gage steel shapes installed over wall openings of masonry construction to reinforce the masonry lintel. The masonry and steel shapes compositely resist gravity loads only and are an alternative to the requirements for reinforced masonry lintels in the 2006 International Building Code® (IBC) and the 2006 International Residential Code® (IRC).   6. AC391—Continuous Rod Tie-Down Assemblies. A new criteria is proposed for continuous rod tie-down systems, which are used to resist tension loads due to wind or earthquake in light frame construction. This subject was previously presented at the October 2008 Evaluation Committee hearing. Click here.
  7. AC316—Shrinkage Compensating Devices. Revisions are proposed to include reference to the 2009 International Building Code. The staff seeks input on a proposed revised method for determining looseness within the devices to what is currently stated, and whether the load-deflection information obtained during testing can be utilized in providing design information within the evaluation report.  Click here.
