  2. AC316—Shrinkage Compensating Devices. Revisions are proposed to allow for evaluation of tension-controlled shrinkage compensating coupling devices. Similar revisions have been considered before. Click here for responses.

  3. AC269—Racking Shear Evaluation of Proprietary Sheathing Materials Attached to Light-frame Wall Construction or Code-complying Sheathing Attached to Light-frame Walls with Proprietary Fasteners. Revisions are proposed to change the title, reorganize the criteria and clarify its intent. Click here for responses.

  4. AC130—Prefabricated Wood Shear Panels. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes and to clarify several sections in the criteria. Click here.

  5. AC322—Prefabricated, Cold-Formed, Steel Lateral-force-resisting Vertical Assemblies. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes and to clarify several sections of the criteria. Click here for responses.
  1. AC04—Sandwich Panels. Revisions are proposed to Section 4.5.1 of the criteria to include provisions for use as components of a building’s seismic-force-resisting system in Seismic Design Categories D, E and F. Click here for responses.

  2. AC416—Proposed Acceptance Criteria for Fiber-reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composite Systems used to strengthen Light-frame Shearwalls. A new criteria is proposed for FRP composite systems applied over light-frame shearwalls with sheathing for in-plane shear strength and stiffness. Click here for responses.

  1. AC38—Self-adhering Water-resistive Barriers. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes and to add provisions for self-adhered water-resistive barriers. Click here for responses.

  2. AC389—Composite Siding Containing Inorganic Microspheres and Proprietary Resins, Used as an Exterior Wall Cladding. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes and to revise test requirements. Click here for responses.

  3. AC212-A—Water-Resistive Coatings Used as Water-Resistive Barriers over Exterior Sheathing. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes. Click here for responses.

  4. AC212-B—Water-Resistive Coatings Used as Water-Resistive Barriers over Exterior Sheathing. Revisions are proposed for use of the coatings as an air barrier and to eliminate the intervening layer required over wood based sheathing in exterior plaster (stucco) applications. This proposal was previously posted for consideration on the June 2009 alternative criteria process agenda. Click here for responses.

  5. AC356—Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Moisture Drainage Systems Used With Exterior Cement Plaster Walls or Adhered Masonry Veneer walls. A new criteria is proposed to clarify requirements for a drainage space in 2009 IBC Section 2510.6 and 2009 IRC Section R703.6.2. The new criteria is broadly based on EG356 but its wording has been significantly revised. Click here for responses.

  6. AC235—EIFS Clad Drainage Wall. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes. Click here for responses.

  7. AC417—Proposed Acceptance Criteria for Enhanced Sag-resistant Gypsum Ceiling Board. A new criteria is proposed to evaluate ½-inch-thick gypsum ceiling board installed parallel to framing spaced at 24 inches on center. Click here for responses.

  8. AC219—Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes. Click here for responses.

  9. AC420—Horizontally Sliding Accordion-folding Egress Fire-door Assemblies. A new criteria is proposed for horizontally sliding accordion-folding egress fire-door assemblies. Click here for responses.

  2. AC365—Building-integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) Roof Panels. Revisions are proposed to expand the scope of the criteria to include BIPV plastic roof panels that are mechanically attached to a roof deck in conjunction with asphalt shingles, and BIPV roof modules that are adhered to single-ply membrane roof coverings and metal roof panels. Click here for responses.

  3. AC152—Adhesive Attachment of Concrete or Clay Roofing Tiles. Revisions are proposed to address requirements in the 2009 International Codes, and to delete requirements in Table 1 for water vapor transmission and for closed cell content tests. Click here for response.

  4. AC257—Corrosion-resistant Fasteners and Evaluation of Corrosion Effects of Wood Treatment Chemicals. Revisions are proposed to address the 2009 International Codes. Also two options regarding the scope of the criteria are offered: one where both the fastener and the corrosion-resistant coating are addressed, and the other where only the corrosion-resistant coating is addressed. Click here for responses.

  5. AC233—Alternate Dowel-type Threaded Fasteners. Revisions are proposed regarding testing, the minimum and maximum number of test specimens, and the required confidence interval. Click here for responses.
