  1. MISC1 — Proposed Test Method for the Evaluation of Fire-resistance Rating of Horizontal Shutters. This item outlines the ICC-ES staff’s interpretation of the test method required to evaluate the performance of horizontal rolling fire shutters Withdrawn.

  2. AC438 — Proposed Acceptance Criteria for Flexible Steep-slope Asphalt Composite Roofing Shingles. A new criteria proposed to set forth requirements for asphalt composite shingles that do not meet all of the prescriptive requirements of ASTM D 3462 Click here.

  3. AC365 — Propose Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Building-integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) Roof Modules and Panels. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to 2012 codes, to incorporate the BIPV shingles/module requirements of the 2012 codes, and to apply the 2012 code requirements for BIPV roof shingles/modules to all BIPV roof products currently covered by the criteria Click here.

  4. AC358 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Helical Foundation Systems and Devices. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2012 and 2009 codes, revise the title, and to incorporate revisions proposed by the Helical Pile Adhoc Committee Click here.

AC179 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Metallic HVAC Duct Enclosure Assemblies Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2009 and 2012 codes and to adopt a new ASTM test standard, ASTM E 2816, which was developed specifically for applications noted in this criteria Click here.

AC04 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Sandwich Panels Revisions are proposed to the exception given in Section 8.1 of the criteria so that combustibility of the panel’s construction is not be a deciding factor in determining whether the panels are required to be under an inspection program and to limit the exception to panels not greater than 10 feet in height Click here.

  7. AC326 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Proprietary Wood Preservative Systems – Common Requirements for Treatment Process, Test Methods and Performance.   1. AC58 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Adhesive Anchors in Masonry Elements. Revisions are proposed to address the requirement for testing by the Independent Testing and Evaluation Agency (ITEA) This issue was held for further study at the June 2011 meeting Click here.

  2. AC232 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Anchor Channels in Concrete Elements. A number of editorial revisions are proposed to improve the criteria along with other technical changes and changes to the provisions involving Independent Testing and Evaluation Agencies (ITEAs) Click here.

  3. AC193 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Mechanical Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to clarify the evaluation of post-installed mechanical anchors installed through the soffit of concrete-filled metal deck and roof assemblies and also introduce design parameters previously absent Click here.

  4. AC437 — Proposed Acceptance Criteria for Expansion Bolts in Structural Steel Connections (Blind Bolts). A new criteria is proposed for evaluating connections in structural steel using expansion anchor steel fasteners (blind bolts). Click here.

AC261 — Proposed Revisions to Acceptance Criteria for Connectors Used with Cold-formed Steel Structural Members Revisions are proposed to the criteria as a result of comments received from the committee during the December 2010 Alternate Agenda revision process Except for changes proposed to Section 4.2 which will place a lower bound on how much under the specified yield point and specified thickness a test specimen can be, the ICC-ES staff considers these revisions to be editorial in nature Click here.

  6. AC378 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Fiber-cement Interior Substrate Sheets Used in Wet and Dry Areas. Revisions are proposed to expand the scope of the criteria to include use of the products in exterior applications and to add ASTM E 330 as an alternate test method to determine resistance to transverse loads Click here.

  7. AC70 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Fasteners Power-driven into Concrete, Steel and Masonry Elements. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2012 codes; include a seismic qualification tests for fasteners placed in structural steel to remove limitations in ASCE 7-10 and permit increased loading; to partially reinstate Table 2 from earlier editions of the criteria to address sill plate attachments, to stipulate a minimum default embedment for fasteners placed into concrete; to add specifications for ceiling wires used with ceiling clip fasteners; and to require that multiple fasteners be used for any connection Click here.

MISC2 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Laminated Fibrous Sheathing Material (AC295) and Acceptance Criteria for Laminated Fibrous Sheathing Material Used as a Water-resistive Barrier (AC382) Revisions are proposed to modify AC295 and AC382 to reflect changes being proposed to update AC269 to the 2009 Codes under the newly proposed Acceptance Criteria for Proprietary Sheathing Jobsite-attached to Wood Light-frame Wall Construction Used as Braced Wall Panels Under the IRC (AC269.1) Click here.

  5. AC436 — Proposed Acceptance Criteria for Seismic Performance of Light Frame Lateral Force Resisting Assemblies. A new criteria is proposed to replace portions of existing ICC-ES acceptance criteria relating to seismic equivalence of prefabricated lateral force resisting vertical assemblies (LFRVAs) or LFRVAs of alternative light-frame construction that consist of unique configurations, or components, to load bearing shear walls of light-frame construction Click here.
