  1. AC232 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Anchor Channels in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to provide clarifications with regard to the conduct and assessment of Test series 2 and 3 of Annex A, Table 4.1; delete Test series 7 (splitting failure under load) of Table 4.1 replace with a default value; delete Sections 5.6.3,, and 8.4.3 of Annex A; change the strength reduction factors in Section 3.1 D4.4.1 of Annex A; add a new Section 6.6.2 to Annex A to address the determination of the mechanical properties of test specimens; and reduce the upper limits of Equations 8.13a and 8.13b to account for the effect of regional variations in concrete on the concrete breakout strength in shear. 1. AC436 — Proposed New Acceptance Criteria for Establishing Seismic Equivalency to Code-prescribed Light-frame Shear Walls. A new acceptance criteria is proposed to replace portions of existing ICC-ES acceptance criteria relating to seismic equivalence, of prefabricated lateral force–resisting vertical assemblies (LFRVAs) or LFRVAs of alternative light-frame construction that consist of unique configurations, or components, to non-load-bearing and load-bearing shear walls of light frame construction that are defined by Table 12.2.1 of ASCE/SEI 7-10. This subject was previously considered by the Evaluation Committee in October 2011 and portions of this proposal were posted on the April 2014 and August 2014 alternative criteria development process agendas. 1. AC326 — Proposed New Appendix for the Acceptance Criteria for Proprietary Wood Preservative Systems — Common Requirements for Treatment Process, Test Methods, and Performance — Wood Glueline Preservative Systems Appendix K. A new appendix to this criteria is proposed to evaluate wood glueline preservative systems used to fabricate structural wood composites. Portions of this proposal were introduced under the June 2014 alternative criteria development process agenda. Click here.

  2. AC380 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Termite Physical Barriers. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2015 and 2012 I-Codes, add provisions to evaluate polyethylene composite barrier laminate membrane systems, make editorial changes to Section 5.1 to reflect current ICC-ES inspection policies, and make revisions to eliminate a required first inspection at three months. Portions of this proposal were introduced under the February 2014 and April 2014 alternative criteria development process agendas. Click here.

  3. AC47 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Structural Wood-based Products. Revisions are proposed to add a new section to the criteria to establish requirements for the evaluation factory-applied fire-retardant overlays or coatings applied to structural wood based products. Click here.

  4. AC385 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Special-purpose Sprinklers Used with Fixed Glazed Assemblies to Provide an Alternative to a Fire-resistance-rated Wall Assembly. Revisions are proposed to revise Sections 5.1.4 and 5.1.10 concerning language to be included in the evaluation report about permitted uses of the special-use sprinklers. Click here.
