  1. AC232 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Anchor Channels in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to delete Test series 11 of Annex A, Table 4.1, and the current default value for β1 = 2/3 (with no testing) or testing performed to determine an alternate value with a β1 = 0.5 for all cases. Additionally, revisions are proposed to modify the current upper limit for concrete compressive strength used in the calculation of concrete breakout in shear perpendicular to the channel in Annex A, Section 3.1, from an f’c of 4500 psi to 8500 psi.   2. AC462 — Proposed New Acceptance Criteria for Shipping Container Building Modules. A new criteria is proposed to establish requirements for the evaluation of materials used in the construction of shipping containers for the purpose of using the shipping containers to construct buildings.   3. AC70 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Power-actuated Fasteners Driven into Concrete, Steel, and Masonry Elements. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2015 codes and address issues raised in our letter accompanying our October 2015 alternative criteria development process agenda posting.   4. AC463 — Proposed New Acceptance Criteria for Magnetic Fasteners. A new criteria is proposed to establish requirements for the evaluation of magnets used to attach equipment supports to ferrous structures as an alternate to screws, bolts or welding. MISC1 (AC14, AC47, AC124) — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Prefabricated Wood I-Joists (AC14), the Acceptance Criteria for Structural Wood-based Products (AC47), and the Acceptance Criteria for Rim Board Products (AC124). Revisions are proposed to add an optional condition of acceptance to the subject criteria for the evaluation of corrosion effects of fire-retardant paints, coatings, treatments, and overlays on metal components. AC436 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Establishing Seismic Equivalency to Code-prescribed Light-frame Shear Walls Sheathed with Wood Structural Panels Rated for Shear Resistance or Steel Sheets. Revisions are proposed to update the criteria to the 2015 I-codes and its referenced standards (including AWC SDPWS-2015).
