  2. AC308 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Post-Installed Adhesive Anchors in Concrete Elements. Revisions are proposed to revise Section 9.6.8.2 of Annex 1 to correct the procedure for determining su in cases where individual test displacements exceed δmax and to relocate Section 10.3.2 to Section 10.4.5.2.2 (with modification) to provide a solution for determining the characteristic bond values when data satisfies the coefficient of variation but the correlation coefficient does not meet the requirements.   3. AC492 — Proposed New Acceptance Criteria for Case-In-Place Proprietary Shear Dowels In Structural Concrete Slab Connections. A new criteria is proposed to establish requirements for the evaluation of case-in-place proprietary shear dowels used to transfer shear loads between structural slab-to-slab or slab-to-wall connections, while allowing axial and/or transverse movement.   4. AC500 — Proposed New Acceptance Criteria for Self-drilling Tapping Screws used to Attach Miscellaneous Building Materials to Steel. A new criteria is proposed to establish requirements for the evaluation of self-drilling tapping screws used to attach miscellaneous building materials to steel base material.   5. AC14 — Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Prefabricated Wood I-Joists. Revisions are proposed to Section A4.4 of the criteria in order to provide clearer testing procedures and conditions of acceptance in determining fire performance equivalent to the materials described in Exception 4 of 2015 IRC Section R302.13 and 2012 IRC Section R501.3.   6. AC116 —Proposed Revisions to the Acceptance Criteria for Nails. Revisions are proposed to add provisions for determining the withdrawal design values for stainless steel smooth shank nails and to revise Section 5.2 to limit nails used in diaphragm and shear wall construction to bright or galvanized carbon steel nails; require testing of smooth shank coated nails that have coatings other than those explicitly addressed in the code; reference ASTM F1667-17 for all editions of the codes and make accompanying revisions to Table 1 and Section 2.2; revise Table 1 to align with the 2015 NDS; revise Section 2.1 regarding the descriptive information sought on deformed nails; revise Section 3.2.2.2.4 to more fully describe conditions that can be addressed by using AC257 to qualify nail coatings; revise Section 3.2.4 to require that nails to be tested for bending yield strength also be measured to determine compliance with the manufacturer’s specification; add an item to Section 6.0 to provide guidance on how to convert withdrawal and lateral design values for nails from English units to SI units; and incorporate various editorial revisions.
