ICC-ES PMG, Home Innovation Research Labs to Offer Canadian Recognition
ICC-ES PMG to verify products meet the National Plumbing Code of Canada
ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) has formalized a working partnership to offer Canadian listings to Home Innovation Research Labs’ clients.
“Home Innovation clients whose products are certified by ICC-ES PMG know that code officials approve such products for installation with confidence,” said Dawn LaFleur-Qualley, Director, ICC-ES PMG. “With full certification by both organizations, the certification reports are more readily accepted in the U.S. as well as all provinces and territories in Canada.
Home Innovation Research Labs has been certifying plumbing products for more than 40 years. Its testing laboratory is accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) in the United States. Many Home Innovation clients need Canadian recognition to expand their market. This partnership allows manufacturers with U.S. certified products through Home Innovation to apply for product certification in accordance with the applicable Canadian standards as well as the National Plumbing Code of Canada. It also ensures the fastest certification turnaround time and the highest level of customer service for the participating manufacturers.
