Criteria Approved‚ Revised
The ICC-ES Evaluation Committee met February 5–7, in Los Angeles, California, to consider 24 agenda items. Of the 24 items, 20 new or revised acceptance criteria were approved. Of note:
AC118—Tapping Screw Fasteners. The revised criteria clarifies the differences in corrosion resistance requirements of fasteners between the International Building Code and the International Residential Code.
AC373—Precast Reinforced Cementitious Slurry Structural Members. This new criteria addresses a proprietary cementitious system used for structural members.
AC387—Metal Webs for Parallel Chord Wood Trusses. This new criteria addresses requirements for metal webs containing integral connector teeth that are used as structural components in parallel chord wood trusses.
AC389—Composite Siding Containing Microspheres used as Exterior Wall Cladding. This new criteria addresses requirements for a proprietary siding material used on exterior walls.

Next Meeting
