Call for Industry Advisory Committee Candidates
ICC Evaluation Service, Inc. (ICC-ES), is seeking candidates to serve on its Industry Advisory Committee. The Committee, which advises ICC-ES on communications issues, customer service, and cooperative efforts with government and industry, is made up of 20 voting members who are appointed to one-year terms by the ICC-ES Board of Directors. Any person having an established record in the building industry, and familiarity with the ICC-ES program, may request appointment to the committee.
Requests for appointment must be filed by February 10, 2006, to be considered. Successful candidates will be appointed by the ICC-ES Board of Directors in March 2006 for one-year terms. The term will begin at a date determined by the Board of Directors.
The Industry Advisory Committee elects its Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary from among its membership. The Committee will meet at least once a year at a location hosted by ICC-ES and may hold additional meetings, at locations of its choosing, as the membership sees fit. Members are responsible for their own meeting expenses.
Persons wishing to serve on the Committee should complete the attached Request for Appointment form and submit it to the ICC-ES business office. Requests must be received or postmarked by February 10, 2006, to be considered.
