ICC-ES to Discontinue Offering Supplemental Reports to the Florida Building Code
ICC-ES will be discontinuing its service which offers supplemental reports verifying compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC) to current ESR report holders. As a transition move, ICC-ES will continue this service while the 2004 FBC and its supplements are in force, but will not be extending this service to newer editions of the FBC.
ICC-ES has seen limited interest in this service and believes alternate mechanisms exist for its evaluation reports to be used in Florida. ICC-ES will maintain its registration with the State of Florida as an evaluation entity in order to maintain its support of its report holders who are utilizing these alternate mechanisms to achieve approval of their products in the State of Florida.
