ICC-ESŪ Joins Forces with Intertek to Enhance the Evaluation Process
ICC Evaluation Service and Intertek—two highly respected entities in the building industry—have teamed up to improve service and facilitate the evaluation process. ICC‐ES and Intertek now work together by discussing the project scope and testing requirements ahead of time, whereby quickly identifying the testing required for an ICC-ES evaluation report and minimize the time it takes to obtain the report.*
Since the ICC-ES–Intertek agreement was announced in mid-2009, it has resulted in great efficiencies for manufacturers who have taken advantage of its terms. Reports issued in conjunction with the ICC-ES–Intertek cooperative agreement have taken a fraction of the time normally required.
